Instructor Out of Town

As you know I am out of town for a conference for the class on Sept. 19th, 2007.

Notes and information regarding the First Web Project are on-line. You may also note that the rest of the terms schedule has been updated, although it is still subject to change. You might notice that I am putting less content per week, to allow more in class work time.

Some notes for you based on the current assignments turned in.

Homework 1

Some of you had more fun with this than others. Don't feel like because it is text, that you can't have fun and be creative. Go for it, and feel free to revise these. I know that this is out of some of your "norm", but you will often find yourself there as a web designer, not always doing exactly what you want, so this is also an exercise in showing how to work in those situations.

Homework 2

Hasn't been collected yet, as I am trying to resolve the web/network issues. I hope to have that solved soon, so assignments can be turned in that way.

Quiz 1

Overall, very good. Some general errors with the knowing where some of the items on the Dreamweaver Interface were. I would recommend looking at the Dreamweaver interface graphic again, so you are familiar with the the names. You will find that knowing the names will help you learn how to use Dreamweaver faster, because you don't have to search for different peices when you are reading, or listening to the discussion in the class. Most everyone missed 2 or fewer questions, so it isn't a real "problem", just something to consider.

Quiz 2

Overall, even better than the first quiz. Almost everyone missed 1 or fewer questions. 1 question would be an 87%, or a high "B", 0 questions would obviously be an "A". In cases were a question was answered incorrectly, I have circled the correct answer for you.
